Rebecca Patman Biography |
Rebecca has had over twenty exhibits with the first major showing in Rome at the gallery La Marguttiana on the famous artist street where she has a studio for two years. Her work was represented in an international artists traveling show in Paris, Brussels, and Munich. Over her thirty year career, she has been affiliated with galleries in N.Y., Philadelphia, and Florida.
Rebecca works in oil, pastel, and watercolor and has received awards in all three mediums. Her portraits, still life, and landscapes are in private and corporate collections in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, South Carolina, and New Jersey. Her pastels have been exhibited in the National Arts Club Gallery in New York in the American Pastel Society Exhibition. One of her watercolors was featured in the book Watercolor Techniques published in England. An experienced teacher, she has taught many workshops in figure painting, portraiture, landscape, and still life painting. She has taught at La Romita in Italy several times and returns periodically to teach landscape painting. Born: Greensboro, N.C.
