My paintings reflect my interest and love of the landscape, whether rural or low country. I have a particular affinity for water which is reflected in many of my works. I find painting water both inspiring and challenging. With each stroke of my brush or palette knife, I strive to create a definite mood through the use of varied paint applications and techniques. Bringing life to the canvas through color, texture and energetic paint application is a very important to me as I work to create both a beautiful painting and compelling viewer experience.
