Lynn Golitz
A native of Lititz, Pennsylvania, the inspiration for these works translates from my country color of fields and rolling farmlands of Amish country, my urban and contemporary life in Columbus, Ohio, the forestlands of Bradford, Pennsylvania, and my relaxed and beach color-infused approach to life now lived in the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina. A self taught artist and occasional sculptor, I continually study compositional theory, art history, color and design. As a recipient of multiple high excellence awards with regional art shows, my work has been seen in “Our State Magazine” as well as juried shows in galleries throughout North Carolina.
How I develop concept.  In passages that merge and flow like action in language, my brushwork conveys my sense of seeing concepts in abstracted form. Always aware of the “if you see everything, you see nothing” conceptual approach, I use my canvas to present social conscripts meant to inspire as well as invite thought and conversation.
How I connect compositions and design. Color, shape form and complexity are built and broken in presentation of my interpretive work. Sometimes they merge. Sometimes they stand alone. Either way, it’s the visual and emotional impact that collides.
How I offer work. With the collector and art enthusiast in mind, my work is unique to the commitment of one origin
